Findings of Fact Pipeline ("the tool") is an internal software tool operated by its owner, Vimal, an individual based in Ontario, Canada. It is used solely to publish and manage videos on YouTube channels owned by the same person. It is not offered to the public and has no users other than its owner.
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool, its owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's collection and use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The tool accesses YouTube data through an OAuth 2.0 authorization granted by the channel owner, with the youtube.force-ssl scope. It uses that access only to upload the owner's own videos, set titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions and playlists, update channel branding and read the owner's own channel and video statistics.
The tool does not collect, store, or process any data about other YouTube users, channels, or viewers. It does not read comments, subscriber lists or personal information of any person. It does not use cookies and has no website analytics.
No data obtained through YouTube API Services is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party. Data is not used for advertising.
Locally stored video identifiers and logs are kept for as long as they are useful for managing the channels and can be deleted by the owner at any time. Stored YouTube API data is refreshed or discarded within 30 days, except the owner's own video identifiers, which are needed to manage the owner's own content.
The authorization granted to the tool can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops the tool from using YouTube API Services for that account.
